Ultimately, Chrest maintained that the most important factor to consider when choosing a headlight is the age of its technology. “Bulb manufacturers spend big money to fund their research and development projects, with the goal of improving the industry’s existing technology. That’s the reason why it would be safe to say that the newer the technology, the better the product would be. However, as always, better technology comes at a price,” he said.
