In trading on Tuesday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.6%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Northern Dynasty Minerals (NAK), down about 24.5% and shares of Mechel (MTL) off about 6.1% on the day.
