"Early in my career I fell in love with the boisterous comic character of Figaro," admits Guidarelli. "I am fortunate to have first played Rossini's version of Figaro in The Barber of Seville and can now explore Mozart's original version of this beloved buffo."
The Marriage of Figaro will be conducted by the St. Petersburg Opera Company's Executive Director and Artistic Director, Mark Sforzini. Hailed as a modern-day Renaissance man, Maestro Sforzini is not only a composer, a conductor, and a bassoonist, but also a visionary leader who founded the company, now in its sixth season. The production team includes Dean Anthony, Stage Director, TJ Ecenia, Scenic Design, and Keith Arsenault, Lighting Design.
G&W Entertainment is pleased to see Guidarelli be cast into new repertoire on such a high level with his debut as Figaro in Mozart's Le Nozze Di Figaro with the St. Petersburg Opera Company.
