New Summer Nail Polish Trend

(PRBuzz) July 6, 2012 -- As the seasons come and go so does the nail polish color trends. White nail polish is a new summer manicure trend.

Allure's June 2012 issue reports "They're sexier than neutrals like beige or pink, especially with a white summer dress. We were skeptical until we tried them on our toes!"

Minimalist white nails make for a refreshing break from the earth tones that dominate this season. Stark white, however, can be aging, so Allure advises clients to try opaque pearlescent shades like Orly's Day Glow and OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls. People can pair the color with something sparkly on the tips, such as silver sequins.

There have been many great moments in white nail polish history including that one ad with Twiggy, Helen Hunt in Girls Just Want to Have Fun, and Gwen Stefani through the 90s. Scarlet Johansson and Eva Longoria have been rocking the trend too.

Most formulas of the thick shade are droopy, sticky, and difficult to apply smoothly.
One of the reasons so many of us refuse to apply it at home is that the pigments in white nail polishes cause most brands to apply very unevenly. Plus the procedure may seem so complicated especially for first-timers. Consequently, have they nails done by a nail technician with their favorite white shade first to gain an example of how to apply it properly.

Moreover, if people want to get fabulous looking white nail polish at home, the ideal course for beginners is the 3 day nail technician courses.
