Toyota City, Japan, Aug 28, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation announces its production, domestic sales, and export results for July 2015, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Hino Motors, Ltd.

Production in Japan

Sales in Japan

Toyota- First decrease in two months- Lexus vehicle sales totaled 4,392 units (35.5 percent increase)- Minivehicle sales totaled 2,543 units (7.4 percent decrease)- 47.7 percent share of market excluding minivehicles (2.7 percentage point decrease)- 32.3 percent share of market including minivehicles (0.3 percentage point increase)

Daihatsu- Decreased- Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 43,100 units (11.0 percent decrease)- 30.2 percent share of minivehicle market (2.4 percentage point increase)

Hino- Fourth consecutive month of increase- Standard truck sales totaled approximately 2,300 units (8.8 percent increase); fourth consecutive month of increase- 34.1 percent share of the truck(1) market (0.5 percentage point increase)

Toyota + Daihatsu + Hino- First decrease in two months- 43.5 percent share of market including minivehicles (0.1 percentage point increase)

Exports

Toyota- First decrease in two months; due to decreased exports to Latin America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa

Daihatsu- Sixth consecutive month of increase; due to increased exports to Latin America, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East

Hino- Decreased, due to decreased exports to Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa

Toyota + Daihatsu + Hino- First decrease in two months

Production outside Japan

Toyota- Second consecutive month of increase; due to increased production in Latin America, Europe, Australia and Africa; record high for the month of July

Daihatsu- Decreased, due to decreased production in Indonesia

Hino- Fifth consecutive month of increase; due to increased production in Asia

Toyota + Daihatsu + Hino- Second consecutive month of increase; record high for the month of July
