Established in 1998, AROBS, European by birth and international by culture, built its way to a global presence through mixing products and services with high expertise and innovation. It all started with 10 software developers using a small apartment as an office, in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania.
Today, AROBS Transilvania Software is an IT solution provider of ready-to-use systems and tailor-made software based on the latest technologies. It is also one of the very few Romanian-owned companies that boldly expand in Europe and Asia, through acquisitions and new market conquests.
In the last 20 years, AROBS Transilvania Software has developed its own product line for domestic and international markets (Optimall, TrackGPS, etc.). The company has become highly specialised in delivering software services to specific industries, including Automotive Engineering, Travel Software, Hospitality Solutions, Life Sciences, Home Automation Systems, IoT, and Enterprise - Cloud application development.
In a bold move, AROBS acquired CoSo, a software solution company, in 2018. By taking over CoSo, AROBS took on the challenges and opportunities brought about by its presence in Benelux, dynamic, demanding market. Over the year, AROBS continued to expand, becoming one of the market leaders for fleet management solutions in South Eastern Europe, with two further successful acquisitions in Romania and Hungary: SAS Grup Romania and SkyShield Hungary.
Today, AROBS offers complex fleet management services for over 6500 companies, across Romania, The Republic of Moldova, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and Indonesia. AROBS’ goal is to help manage more than 100,000 vehicles by 2020.
AROBS is also expanding its product portfolio, entering new specialised markets. AROBS recently announced the takeover of UCMS Romania – a company specialised in human resources - with two well-known HR products: True HR and dpPayroll. Furthermore, AROBS started investing in SoftManager which is a very promising CRM+ and another Romanian application.
