Lighthouse Treatment Center Announces Collaboration with Chrysalis to Help Individuals Overcome Barriers to Employment and Find Their Pathway to Self-Sufficiency

Anaheim, California (March 18, 2019) the Lighthouse Treatment Center, a residential treatment center offering drug and alcohol recovery services, is excited to announce a joint venture with Chrysalis, a non-profit organization that is focused on changing lives through jobs.

Chrysalis is dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for individuals by providing resources and support to find and retain employment. The Lighthouse creates a new start for clients suffering from drug addiction and alcoholism. When a client is self-supporting through their own contributions the probability of relapse is diminished.

By creating a working collaboration with Chrysalis, we are transitioning our clients to the path of success. In turn, by hiring applicants through Chrysalis, we are helping the community succeed. Tamara Jimenez, our Community Relations Manager stated, “We are always looking for ways to partner with the community to improve the lives of as many people as possible.”

Our unique program draws upon each client’s individual strengths and teaches them concrete skills while also building hope, self-esteem, and self-reliance. The only requirement for becoming a Chrysalis client is the ability and willingness to work,” said Lisa Dulyea, Director of Development at Chrysalis’ Orange County center.

The disease of Addiction wants to separate people and the ability to join the workforce is one of the great hurdles in joining society. Any way we can create an accessible pathway will help stop recidivism of returning to active alcoholism or drug addiction.
