Z Skin Cosmetics ended 2014 as one of the market leaders for organic skincare and hair loss products. The company is now in crisis after last quarter, and Ryan Zamo the 26-year-old CEO is reportedly talking about filing bankruptcy, if the company continues to plummet at the speed it is.
The company took a huge hit last quarter after its co-founder Karen Zamo was suddenly found dead at age 57. With sales dropping over the past few months, the company is now fighting to stay afloat, Ryan said “It has been such a hard few months for me, my mom was extremely sick and I wanted to spend as much time with her as possible, which was taking a lot of time away from the company”.
The company’s sales have dropped drastically each month since the start of the new year, with the biggest hit so far being last month, with reports showing a drop of 60% from its already previously dwindling sales. Now only time will tell if the company will stay afloat, and if Z Skin Cosmetics continues to sink at this rapid speed, the college-student entrepreneur seems to have already accepted its inevitable doom.
