The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Rochinda Pickens as a 2019-2020 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in ministry. Rochinda Pickens started out hosting small study groups with women quarterly in various locations around Kansas City, including a clothing boutique she owned. “We would discuss everyday topics in comparison with the Bible,” she said.
In 2016, Ms. Pickens founded Kept Woman of God Ministry, which is open to women of all ages. In her role as CEO, Ms. Pickens is responsible for connecting with women around the world through workshops, retreats and conferences. “I create experiences for women,” she said. To accomplish this, she uses her skills as a Conference Facilitator, Event Planner, Workshop Leader and Speaker.
A national best-selling author, Ms. Pickens has written From Being Kept to Being Kept, where she shares her faith journey and Picking Up the Pieces, a collaboration of true stories of tragedies and triumphs.
Ms. Pickens is hosting her next conference in Kansas City, MO, April 5-6, 2019. “It is so rewarding to be able to connect with hundreds of ladies by sharing my testimony of how God Kept Me,” she said. “My future goals are to host my conference globally.”
