Ottawa, Apr 19, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - On Friday, April 12, 2019, Former Canadian National Soccer Player and Coach, Paul J. James, began The Long Walk from Toronto to Parliament Hill in Ottawa to ignite the "Ending The War on People Campaign" aimed at making Canada and the World a better more humane place in which to live. Specifically, James is seeking human rights protection for those persons severely oppressed because of exposed substance addictions/disabilities. The almost 400 km journey will take ten days to complete " equivalent to running a marathon every day " with James expecting to arrive at Parliament Hill on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, to meet with the Prime Minister or his representative.

About Paul James
Paul James is a 3x inductee into the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame and represented Canada 100x as both a player and coach. He is a seven-time winner of Coach of the Year awards in both the US and Canadian collegiate game. In 2008 Paul J James came open to his employer, York University, seeking help for his diagnosed substance disability only to be constructively dismissed as York University's Master Coach. Paul J James has been confronting STIGMA and seeking access to social justice for more than 10 years.
