NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 06/28/12 -- Everybody's Phone Company, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: EVPH), a growing provider of prepaid telephone services, has announced that it is in the final stages of discussion with a major US based telecom provider to begin offering long distance service to its customer base.

Telecom companies that service Houston, Texas: AT&T (NYSE: T), Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and Sprint (NYSE: S)

Upon closing of the agreement, EVPH plans to bundle its current prepaid local telephone services with long-distance (LD) calling supplied under the new partnership. EVPH expects to attract 5,000 new customers over the next 12 months and further anticipates a minimum of 50% adoption of the LD services.

Globally, in the broadest possible sense, the telecommunications industry will be about a $4.25 trillion sector in 2012. (This figure includes equipment and related services, as well as subscriber revenues and other business revenues.) The widely recognized TIA (Telecommunications Industry Association) estimated global telecom revenues at $3.1 trillion for 2010, including $985 in U.S. revenues. By trying to capture a niche part of the industry, consumers unable to get traditional phone service or customers unwilling to be billed monthly for services that are not their primary way of communicating, could provide a successful path into markets outside of the Houston, Texas market.
