UPDATE 1-Ingrid makes landfall in Mexico as storms claim 22 lives

MEXICO CITY, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Ingrid weakened from a hurricane to a tropical storm as it made landfall Monday on Mexico's northern Gulf Coast, drenching a large swath of the country and unleashing deadly flooding, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.
