New science fiction novel gives nerds everywhere a champion to cheer for

By: PRLog
Patrick Murphy tackles the primary question on almost every geek mind on Earth; is there someone out there for me? His transition from silver screen to the pages of a novel takes five hundred light years and an interstellar war to answer.
PRLog - Jan. 7, 2014 - RAINBOW BEACH, Australia -- Author Patrick Murphy moves from the silver screen at A.L.I.E.N Productions to take us on every geek’s ultimate adventure in his new Sci-Fi novel out on Amazon, “The Book of Pictures - A New Race.” Patrick uses his lifetime of experience in science, aviation, special effects, and films to bring entire anthropomorphized civilizations to life. From the multi-racial furred inhabitants on the planet Eros to the Reptilian populace of Gorlon, every page brings something new.

A nerd or a geek, usually one yearning to find the girl or boy of their dreams, has been, and probably still are, behind almost every invention on Earth. At our present time in history, where an ever increasing population brings mounting famine, “The Book of Pictures - A New Race”brings to light what can happen to the mind set of a starving race and the resulting prejudice which inevitably ends in war. We need as many nerds and geeks to save the day as we can get, and they need someone to care about.

About Patrick Murphy. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to a father of Irish stock and mother from German heritage. Creative parents usually have creative children and Patrick was no exception. He was an accomplished ballet and adagio dancer but channeled his creative talents into designing custom cars and restoring airplanes. He began a filmmaking career while in the Solomon Islands retrieving World War Two airplanes out of the jungle and has several documentaries still in circulation. Presently, he works out of a double deck motorhome, also a mobile film studio, and travels the highways and byways of Australia in the search for the perfect place to let his imagination soar. His helicopter springs out of the trailer like a transformer, so the bus is appropriately named "Ultimus Prime" and is a constant hit at events around Australia.
