London-based firm Ventas Central are very optimistic looking at the future. According to figures published by Start-up Britain, London is the entrepreneurial powerhouse in the UK, followed by Birmingham and Manchester.

LONDON, ENGLAND, May 15, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Figures released by the national enterprise campaign StartUp Britain confirm, London is the UK's entrepreneurial powerhouse with a total of 136,939 newly registered businesses with Companies House in 2013, followed by Birmingham with 16,281 new businesses and Manchester with 11,765. London is in fact the UK's powerhouse, dominating Britain's entrepreneurial boom. In 2013, more than one in five new start-up businesses were registered in Greater London, home to one in eight people in the UK. A report published by the Centre for Cities confirm London's value for so many entrepreneurs and young people looking for work during their studies and to move up the career ladder. Britain's capital is creating ten times more jobs in the private sector than the second fastest growing town, Edinburgh.
