Salix falls to loss, CFO resigns

Salix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Nasdaq: SLXP) fell to a loss for the third quarter of $1.39 per diluted share compared with earnings of 71 cents per diluted share in the year ago period and announced the resignation of chief financial officer Adam C. Derbyshire.
