Plattsmouth, NE – On November 24th, WarCat Toys launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for ‘DC Deadbeats,’ their latest line of collectible Zombie Political Figures. Including politicians like Barack Obama Obama, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reed, and Nancy Pelosi. The zombie collection is a great way to poke fun at the government officials you dislike and share the joke with friends, family members, and coworkers.
“DC Deadbeats – Collectible Figurines of Zombie Politicians are as disgusting as they are hilarious, and make a nice addition for the collector that loves zombies, dislikes politicians, and/or just wants to be envied by all,” says Paul, the founder and CEO of WarCat Toys.
For the past six months, Paul Warner the founder and CEO of WarCat Toys, has designed, sculpted, and painted the DC Deadbeats figurines, in addition to developing a compelling story line and establishing a vast network of resources to produce and deliver the collectibles in bulk. Coming from an IT background, Warner established WarCat Toys from his childhood passion to build a toy company that has its roots in satire and parody.

Rather than going through a traditional publishing or distribution company, Warner decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help finance the initial production of the DC Deadbeats line and involve supporters in the evolving satirical storyline behind the collectible zombie figurines.
In this storyline, members of an elite secret society made up of politicians and billionaires decide to cleanse the world of its population with the intent to create a new world order. However, their plan backfires, resulting in a zombie apocalypse and an infection that uncontrollably spreads throughout the nation’s capital.
