Grand Opening of the Palazzo Westwood Village, New Residences and Retail in the Heart of Westwood

Palazzo Westwood Village at 1060 Glendon Avenue will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, October 17 at 4 p.m. with a giant, invitation only, neighborhood party. Glendon Avenue will come alive with music, food and refreshments. Guests will enjoy feature live music, a performance by children from the LAs Best After School Enrichment program, and an official ribbon cutting by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky and Alan Casden, CEO of Casden Properties, who conceived and built the Spanish Colonial Revival apartment community with ground floor retail.

During the program Casden Properties will present a $25,000 donation to LAs Best, a nationally recognized after school education, enrichment and recreation program serving more than 28,000 children, ages 5 to 12 at no cost to parents, at 180 elementary schools throughout the City of Los Angeles.

The Palazzo Westwood Village is bringing approximately 700 new residents, from young professionals and families to empty nesters to the heart of this urban village. Designed with the ongoing revitalization of Westwood in mind, the Palazzo Westwood features top-tier retailers such as Trader Joes along both sides of Glendon Avenue to further enhance the walkable environment.
