Susan Stillings Joins Brunswick Group as a Partner

Brunswick Group LLC, a leading communications consultancy, today announced that Susan T. Stillings has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner. Ms. Stillings will work on a range of financial and corporate communications clients, with a particular focus on investor relations, international crisis work, and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Stillings joins Brunswick from Edelman where she was executive vice president and global managing director of its financial communications practice. Prior to her position at Edelman, she was managing director of Ogilvy Financial’s Asia Pacific region. Previously, she was a managing director with Joele Frank, Wilkinson, Brimmer, Katcher. Before moving into agency work, Ms. Stillings managed global corporate communications for technology companies Iomega Corp. and Merisel. Ms. Stillings began her career as a banker and was a vice president with Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank).

Ms. Stillings’ background includes extensive corporate crisis work, cross-border IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, proxy fights, shareholder activist communications and lawsuits, government investigations, management turnovers, international IP litigation and product recalls.

Ms. Stillings is a Charter Financial Analyst and a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI). Her MBA and bachelor’s degrees are from the University of Michigan.
