On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, President George W. Bush will visit Books-A-Million at Grapevine Mills Mall to sign his new book titled 41: A Portrait of My Father. A unique and intimate biography, 41 covers the entire scope of the elder President Bush’s life and career and shines new light on both the accomplished statesman and the warm, decent man known best by his family.

Wristbands will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis, starting at 10 a.m., on Thursday, December 4 at the Grapevine Mills store. Customers will be able to purchase a minimum of one and a maximum of two copies of 41: A Portrait of My Father to be signed by President George W. Bush on Tuesday, December 9, through the wristband system. Wristband and receipt will be required for entry to the event. One wristband is required for each attendee ages 12 and older; no family or group access with one wristband. Customers will receive their book(s) at the end of the signing line. There will not be an opportunity to take photographs during the signing. Only copies of 41 will be signed. Autographs for other books or memorabilia will NOT be permitted.
The book signing will be open to the press for b-roll purposes only during the top of the signing.
Media must receive appropriate credentials to cover the event. Media should apply for credentials by contacting Debbie Pressnell (pressnelld@awbcinc.com) by Monday, December 8, 2014 at 12:00 PM CST. The legal name and news affiliate of any reporter, photographer, or crewmember anticipated to attend the event must be provided. Follow-up instructions, including parking information will be sent to credentialed media when registration is closed.
