In early 2017, Skip Summerville, President of Regency Furniture, was searching for an affordable, mobile, and battery-operated option for a sit and stand desk, but he couldn’t find what he was looking for on the market.

“All of the mobile, sit and stand desks I found were large or extremely expensive or had big plugs,” states Summerville. “I wanted a desk that with a touch of a button would be height adjustable and be able to easily move across the room. I wanted it affordable, scratch and stain resistant with rounded corners for safety. And when I couldn’t find it? My team created a Patent and the Height-Adjustable Esteem Power Desk was put in production.”  

The Patent-Pending Esteem Height-Adjustable Power Desk ranges in sizes from 42” W x 24” D to 84” W to 24” D and also features a battery option, so each person can be mobile, with an option to work without being tethered to a wall. And while the Esteem looks great on its own, it can easily be incorporated into an L or U Desk for a truly versatile workstation.
