The U.S. is no longer importing inflation, price gauge shows

The cost of goods imported into the U.S. fell for the second month in a row largely because of lower oil prices, the latest sign that inflation eased toward the end of 2018. Subdued inflation gives the Federal Reserve leeway to raise interest rates more slowly.
