Bridgewater, MA Single-family Median Price Falls, But 2011 Sales Jump

(PRBuzz.com) February 20, 2012 -- The median price of single-family homes in Bridgewater, Massachusetts decreased in 2011 while sales increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, the largest exclusive buyer agent real estate firm in Massachusetts.

The median price of single-family homes fell 7.2 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $21,450. Single-family home sales in Bridgewater, MA increased 16.7 percent in 2011, a difference of 21 sales compared to 2010.

Condominium sales plunged 40.9 percent in 2011, a difference of 25 sales compared to 2010. The median price of condos fell 0.7 percent in 2011, a difference of $1,050 compared to the previous year.

Multi-family home sales increased 11.1 percent in 2011, a difference of only one sale compared to 2010. The median price of multi-family homes dropped 14.9 percent in 2011, a difference of $36,450 compared to 2010.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.
