I mentioned in Friday’s Midday that the weakness in the Mid and Small Caps needs to be watched. Both the economic data out of the EU (more specifically Germany) and worse than expected PMI data out of China help explain the action in the larger market caps but last week before this data was out, the Mid and Small Caps were leading the market down.
