Israeli business newspaper Globes reported that Starbucks Corp. (Nasdaq: SBUX) engaged in discussions to acquire a 10% stake in SodaStream International Ltd. (Nasdaq: SODA). Shares of Starbucks slipped 64 cents to $70.51 while SodaStream stock soared $5.57 to $46.00.
