SunEdison Inc. (NYSE: SUNE) and its subsidiary TerraForm Power Inc. (Nasdaq: TERP) will pay approximately $2.4 billion to acquire First Wind. Shares of SunEdison soared $4.33 to $20.94 while TerraForm Power stock leaped $7.94 to $33.78.
