Veteran lobbyist, former congressional staffer, and association executive Andy Wright today announced the launch of Wright Strategies, LLC a government relations firm, based inside the Capital Beltway. Wright Strategies will focus on energy, environment, natural resources, chemicals, financial services, transportation and telecommunications issues, bringing a unique mix of political, legal, and policy knowledge to its clients.

With more than 30 years of Capitol Hill and private sector experience, the firm will provide clients with cutting-edge government relations, advocacy, policy development and analysis, and strategic consulting support.

Prior to forming Wright Strategies, Andy served as a shareholder at Polsinelli, a national law firm, and as managing principal at Dutko Grayling, a multidisciplinary, global government affairs, public relations and management consulting firm.

Wright served as chief of staff to Congressman Rick Boucher (VA) and Brad Sherman (CA) and provided leadership and direction to two national trade associations, serving as president of the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association and as vice president of government affairs for the American Insurance Association. He is a frequent speaker on political and policy issues and was honored by The Hill newspaper as one of Washington’s “Top Lobbyists.” Wright earned his law degree from the University of Virginia.
