Markets fall on Greek talks

The markets traded lower during the midday with the Dow dropping 58 points to 18,085 on reported setbacks to Greek negotiations. Nasdaq lost 8 points to 5,151.

On the upside

Elite Investments wrote that Synthesis Energy (Nasdaq: SYMX) was poised to soar.

Box (NYSE: BOX) partnered with IBM (NYSE: IBM) to develop innovative solutions to transform work in the cloud.

Nektar Therapeutics (Nasdaq: NKTR) will replace Casey's General Stores (Nasdaq: CASY) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after market close on June 25, 2015.

On the downside

Peabody Energy (NYSE: BTU) will be replaced on the S&P MidCap 400 by Cable ONE after market close on June 30, 2015.

Paragon Offshore (NYSE: PGN) will be replaced by Semtech (Nasdaq: SMTC) on the S&P SmallCap 600 after market close on June 30, 2015.

Investors locked in profits on Energous (Nasdaq: WATT).

In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of more than 5 to 3 on the NYSE and by nearly 2 to 1 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 lost 4 points to 2119. Bitcoin slipped $4 to $240.
