Apollo Education Group Inc. (Nasdaq: APOL) reported lower third quarter revenue and earnings of 44 cents per diluted share compared with 59 cents per diluted share in the year ago period and cut its full year guidance prompting a downgrade. Shares of the for-profit educator plunged $2.37 to $13.16.
