Twitter Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) reported a loss for the second quarter of 21 cents per share compared with a loss of 24 cents per share in the year ago period as user growth disappointed and warned that growth would take a significant amount of time. The stock price plunged $5.08 to $31.46.
