It won a certificate in the category "Global League - Indian Institutes" and an award for "Maintaining Global Standards in Contributing to the Growth of the Indian Education System". The event was organized by the SkillTree Knowledge Consortium and Sterling Media, a premier name in international communications.
The House of Commons in London was the venue for the highly anticipated event held on June 24, 2014. Mr Bob Blackman, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Conservative Party, UK was the Chief Guest for the evening that was attended by a 'who's who' in academia from India and the UK. In total, 20 institutes from India were celebrated for their efforts in education. FORE School of Management, New Delhi was one of the leading institutes that received the prestigious honour, which was received by Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director of the institute.
It was, in many ways, a fitting reward for all the initiatives the institute has been taking to achieve high standards of academic excellence. In keeping with the changing times, FORE has constantly brought about innovative changes in the curriculum of its PGDM and PGDM (International Business) programmes. FORE also organizes exchange programs with reputed business schools/universities at international locations in order to offer students an international perspective. The International Immersion Programme involves a week-long programme for all 240 first year students with a reputed Business School at an international location. There are carefully designed seminars, workshops, conclaves and industry interfaces where students interact with academicians and senior industry practitioners in order to gain valuable inputs.
Speaking of the award won at this event, Dr. Das said, "It was a huge honour to receive the award. It is a recognition of over two decades of efforts in providing quality education to management students.
