Katrina's Thera-Spa Now Providing Rejuvenation for Clients

The spa offers a variety of massage treatments to help aid in overall wellness and relaxation.

ST. CLOUD, MN, November 25, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In today's hectic world, it can often be difficult to find a way to relax and renew. At Katrina's Thera-Spa, you can enjoy a relaxing experience in a calming and renewing spa environment. Located in St. Cloud, MN, Katrina will tailor every massage to each client's needs to help reach that individual's specific wellness goals.

Katrina passed the National Certification exam from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork after attending the Minnesota School of Business where she received an Associate's Degree in Applied Science for Massage Therapy, qualifying her to perform therapeutic massage. Her talents allow every client to reach a state of wellness and a feeling of relaxation through therapeutic massage.

At the spa, clients can experience the soothing effects of a body wrap made with only natural ingredients, including green tea, natural clay, honey, and essential oils. Body wraps increase wellness by nourishing the skin and helping to relieve stress and achy muscles. Each wrap takes place in a tranquil atmosphere to allow for the highest level of relaxation.

A variety of therapeutic massages is offered by Katrina at her St. Cloud, MN location. Katrina offers a myofascial release massage that helps soothe the fascia that binds muscles as well as ease muscle tension and pain. Clients can also experience a lymphatic massage, which invigorates the immune system and helps to balance fluids in the body. This balance will help release toxins that are trapped in the body, improving overall health.

Other therapeutic massages include cranial sacral massage, pregnancy massage, and cold stone massage. Each of these therapeutic massages provides a sense of relaxation and aid in overall wellness in the body.

A cranial sacral massage stimulates the central nervous system to balance chemicals and hormones in the body. Their invigorating pregnancy massage not only promotes wellness for pregnant women, but also works with the changing hormones in the body. Finally, the cold stone massage can be used to alleviate migraines or to help heal injured areas.

Clients can also receive Swedish massages, which range from gentle to vigorous, depending on the client's personal needs; deep-tissue massages that push deep into muscles to relieve pain; Thai massages that reduce stress and energize and revitalize the body while increasing flexibility; and reflexology, which combines massage and acupuncture. Each of these massage techniques aim to ease muscle tension and promote overall relaxation in a soothing treatment environment.
