Mark Systems Participates in Dedication of Habitat for Humanity House

The Mark Systems team proved they can build software and homes for Habitat for Humanity.

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ, April 24, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark Systems, the leading provider of enterprise home builder software, participated in the dedication of a Habitat for Humanity house they helped rebuild in Riverside, NJ. Inspired by their Habitat customers, the Mark Systems team gained valuable insight into the processes and operations of Habitat for Humanity that will aide them in support and consulting this customer type.

The Mark Systems team was pleasantly surprised to see the two-story home had come a long way since their build day in the Fall of 2014. New flooring, fixtures, appliances, and a landscaping makeover came together to make this neglected property a beautiful home.

"It was both shocking and humbling to see the final results of the efforts of so many. Seeing the finished closets we framed as a team along with our other projects; knowing the difference it will make for the home owner brought such a feeling of accomplishment. Walking through the house, it was barely recognizable!" says John Gaffney, Software Engineer, Mark Systems.

During the dedication Mark Systems was honored to present traditional Habitat for Humanity gifts of a corn broom, salt, candle, bread, welcome mat, potted plant, and Bible alongside other volunteers and donors. They also presented the new home owner with a house warming gift from the entire Mark Systems team.
