Stephen G. Breyer, Associate Justice, United States Supreme Court, to Deliver Closing Remarks at First French-American Business Week

The first French-American Business Week (FABW) will take place on Wed. May 18 and Thurs. May 19, 2016 at the Maison Française of the Embassy of France in Washington, DC.

The main purpose of this “B2B” event is to further business relationships between the United States and France and support bilateral trade.

Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States Stephen Breyer will deliver the Closing Remarks of the conference, while Assistant Secretary of State Ambassador Charles H. Rivkin and Marriott International President and CEO Arne Sorenson will address an audience of high level executives from the private and public sectors.  

These Keynote Speakers will be joined by a number of eminent panelists during the 2-day conference.

This first French-American Business Week (FABW), organized by the FACC Washington, DC in close collaboration with the Embassy of France in the United States, is an important event for the Business Community in DC… FABW will present an interesting mix of  high level American and French speakers and organizations, addressing several themes ranging from Corporate Social Responsibility to Cyber-Security, the Positive Impact of Women in Business or Doing Business with Government Agencies in the US and France… This first French-American Business Week perfectly highlights the very unique bond between the United States and France…" declared Jean-Marc Gaultier, President FACC Washington, DC.

As a follow-up to the success of the 2015 COP21 Conference, two half-day sessions will be dedicated to “Smart Cities, Green Cities” through the FOCUS program of the French Ministry of Environment and the Embassy of France.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the participating companies exhibiting their products and services, appreciate a selection of French contemporary artists presented within a France Pavilion, and enjoy French Food & Wine Tastings - as well as the Exclusive Closing Reception at the Ambassador’s Private Residence on Thursday evening, will provide high level networking opportunities for the participants.
