Ready? Set? Vote!; Crock-Pot® Brand Calls on America to Pick the Finalists In Its 2014 Ultimate Crock-Pot Crock-Star Contest

After receiving a cornucopia of entries over a month-long submission period, the Crock-Pot® brand is calling on America to pick the finalists in its 2014 Ultimate Crock-Pot Crock-Star contest! Now in its fourth year, the Ultimate Crock-Pot Crock-Star contest is the brand’s annual nationwide search for the most inspiring slow cooking superstar.

From October 1-31st, the brand played on Americans’ selfie obsession, calling on aspiring Crock-Stars to submit a one-minute “video selfie” prepping an original recipe with a Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker for a chance at “crock-stardom.” The winner will be named as the 2014 Ultimate Crock-Pot Crock-Star, win $5,000, and be featured on Crock-Pot.com.

In the spirit of a true nationwide search, the Crock-Pot® brand is asking America to pick the finalists! All contest entries are available for public viewing and voting at CrockStars.com from November 1-9 only. The five (5) entries that receive the most votes from America during this period will be named finalists of the 2014 Ultimate Crock-Pot Crock-Star contest.

From the finalists selected by America, Crock-Pot® brand executives will review and evaluate their entries against the criteria outlined in the Official Rules found on CrockStars.com - 50% Brand Relevance, 50% Creativity & Uniqueness. The winner of the 2014 Ultimate Crock-Pot Crock-Star contest will be announced soon after the judging period ends.
