UPDATE: Cablevision Posts Q3 Profit

Cablevision Systems (NYSE: CVC ) posted a profit in the third quarter. Cablevision swung to a quarterly profit of $294.6 million, or $1.10 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $3.8 million, or a penny per share. Its per-share earnings from continuing operations climbed to $0.22 versus a penny.
