Intel To Pay $375 Million For InterDigital Patents

Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) will pay $375 million in cash to acquire approximately 1,700 patents and patent applications from InterDigital Inc. (Nasdaq: IDCC). Shares of Intel added 22 cents to $27.56 while InterDigital stock rocketed $7.12 to $30.00.
