The previously announced retirement date for Kevin P. McCarthy, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Unum Group, has been changed from March 14, 2014 to March 31, 2014.
This Amendment No. 1 to Unum Group’s Form 8-K filed on May 23, 2013 (the “Original Form 8-K”) is being filed solely for the purpose of updating Mr. McCarthy’s retirement date and does not otherwise modify the Original Form 8-K.
