The Law Offices of Michael Discioarro, LLC Announced Today the Dismissal of Client's ACS Case.
NEW YORK - July 9, 2021 - PRLog -- The case of ACS v. P.M. No. 11065 at the OCFS was a very difficult case for the clients. The client's adopted son physically assaulted the father and was arrested. ACS simply would not let the case go and accused the father who was assaulted of not properly planning for the child's future. This is a young man who had beaten the father and sent hm to the hospital.
" This case may be the lowest point I have seen ACS go. This man was beaten by his son and ACS simply did not care. We are so happy the case was dismissed." he said.
ACS ultimately backed down after years of litigation. The Office of Children and Family Services, will put a parent on trial in order to place them on the Maltreatment Registry.
This can be very damaging to any parent who works in healthcare or child care or who wants to adopt. If a case goes to trial, it is before an Administrative Law Judge and he issues a written decision within a couple of weeks. It can be very stressful for parents and children alike to have to fight ACS in this forum. The Law Offices of Michael S. Discioarro LLC can be reached at 917-519-8417 or by visiting:
