Today Philip Jepsen, CEO of ManageByStats, a premium suite of business tools for Amazon sellers, announced that product images are now included on all related menu items. This includes Product Metrics and Inventory screens, as well as the edit screens for ASINs and SKUs. The images are paired with existing product names and descriptions to give an added visual recognition, which can be helpful when looking at long lists of products.
“We’ve had product images on the SKU edit screens,” says Mister Jepsen, “and we’re now including them under various other screens as well. This is particularly useful for inventory management, where you can at times be looking at a long list of products. Product name, SKU and other descriptive info is good, but there’s no escaping our visual nature as humans. Having a thumbnail picture of the product in question makes it easy to see, at-a-glance, which product is being referenced.”
Thumbnail images are used from the main product listing on Amazon, and inserted alongside each product line item in ManageByStats. They appear now under Product Metrics, in Inventory Management, Maximum Quantity and the SKU edit screens. ManageByStats is a suite of tools for Amazon sellers, with graphs, tools for statistical analysis, reporting, customer and inventory management, automated email services and more. It connects directly to a user’s Amazon Seller Central, and can be used to manage multiple Seller Central accounts.
“This is a prominent addition,” says Mister Jepsen. “Though it’s really just the addition of photos in a few places. We’ve had requests for this, so we think this is going to make for a lot of happy users. It’s one more step in our continuing quest to deliver the most comprehensive, feature rich set of tools for Amazon sellers.”
