AT&T and Verizon have drones that could provide cell service and save lives this hurricane season

AT&T and Verizon are experimenting with drones to bring back phone service following natural disasters. AT&T used one of its drones in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria wiped out over 90 percent of the region's cell sites. Verizon is still testing its cellular drones, but says that they are ready to be deployed this hurricane season.
