A big — and potentially worrisome — divergence has emerged in the stock market. Mark Hulbert at marketwatch.com made the following observations: Dow Jones Transportation index (IYT) peaked ten months ago while Dow Jones Industrial Index (DIA) and S&P 500 (SPY) hit new bull market highs in early April Thursday (4/26/2012), Dow Jones Industrial had a triple digit gain while the Transportation index lost big --- over 1%.
