Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE) widened losses for the first quarter but revenue rose to top estimates.
InterCloud Systems (Nasdaq: ICLD) received contracts from new clients totaling more than $1.5 million.
On the downside
Zumiez (Nasdaq: ZUMZ) reported higher first quarter earnings and revenue but company forecast second quarter results well below analyst expectations prompting downgrades.
First quarter earnings and revenue rose for Vince Holding (NYSE: VNCE) but the company lowered its full year earnings and revenue outlook.
Investors locked in profits on Lightbridge (Nasdaq: LTBR).
In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of 5 to 3 on the NYSE and by nearly 5 to 4 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 rose 2 points to 2098. Bitcoin added a point to $225.
