Duke Energy asks NC legislators for cost-recovery options on $13B grid upgrade, storm costs

N.C. Senate leaders from both sides of the aisle are sponsors of a bill that would allow Duke Energy to ask regulators for annual increases to cover the costs of its ambitious, $13 billion plan to upgrade the electric grid in the state.
