Private Banker International (PBI) Global Awards 2009 Finalists Named

Singapore, Sept 30, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - Private Banker International (PBI) 19th Wealth Summit on 5 - 6 October 2009 will survey the private banking landscape and debate the new rules for the wealth industry.

The PBI Wealth Summit will is hosting the prestigious PBI Awards for excellence and best practice, in recognition of industry leaders, individuals and organisations that are setting new benchmarks. The awards are particularly relevant this year, as the wealth industry adapts to the most testing period in the global private banking's recent history.

The PBI Global Awards celebrate the best-in-class institutions and outstanding individuals engaged in wealth management globally. They have become established as the most senior accolades in the wealth business, identifying the institutions which have become the industry benchmarks as well as those companies who have made outstanding progress in an increasingly competitive environment.

Finalists and winners are determined and decided from the worldwide readership of PBI, and submissions from a number of private banks and wealth management institutions across the Americas, Europe, Russia, Middle East and Asia. The list of finalists is outlined in Annex 2.

Results will be announced and presented at the Awards Gala Dinner on 5 October 2009 during the course of the Wealth Summit which will be held at the Fullerton Hotel, Singapore.
