Stokely-Van Camp, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company End Litigation over Ad Campaign

Stokely-Van Camp (SVC), the owner of Gatorade, and The Coca-Cola Company, owner of POWERADE ION4, announced today an agreement that both parties would end the New York U.S. District Court litigation initiated by SVC about POWERADE ION 4’s advertising campaign. In a joint statement, the two companies said, “We are pleased to put an end to the litigation so now we can focus our energies on the marketplace.”
