Omniture Extends Real-Time Personalization and Optimization to iPhone Applications

Omniture, an Adobe company (NASDAQ:ADBE) and a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that it is extending online optimization capabilities to native iPhone applications.

Omniture Test&Target now provides marketers with the ability to better personalize and improve effectiveness and performance of iPhone applications with the Test&Target standard optimization functionality such as A/B and multivariate testing, dynamic content targeting and audience segmentation. This new feature allows developers and marketers to remotely modify the content and user experience of their iPhone applications in real-time, directly from the Test&Target online console. Countless opportunities exist for ongoing iPhone application optimization, for example: the testing and fine tuning of registration and lead generation forms and ecommerce checkout flows, in addition to dynamic content targeting to distinct audience segments by affinity and prior application activity for increased relevance. Continuous improvements to these areas can decrease abandonment and increase conversion and engagement with the rapidly growing number of iPhone application users.
