Amazon.com Automotive Launches Wheels Store

Amazon.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMZN) today announced the launch of its Wheels Store (www.amazon.com/wheels), a convenient shopping destination for tens of thousands of wheels and related parts and accessories. The store caters to all types of automotive customers, showcasing a vast selection from top brands like American Racing, Dip, Dale Earnhardt Jr., KMC, Mickey Thompson, Sacchi, Konig and Veloche. As in the Amazon.com Automotive Store, customers looking for wheels will discover the Automotive Part Finder, a powerful search tool that helps customers quickly find the wheels guaranteed to fit their specific year, make and model.

“We are thrilled to launch the new wheels store for automotive customers,” said Steve Frazier, Vice President of Amazon.com Automotive. “Our goal is to provide customers with everything they are looking for in automotive aftermarket goods. Wheels are an important addition to that selection, and we’re delighted to deliver great prices and the convenience of Amazon’s unique shopping experience to the wheel marketplace.”

Since its launch in 2006, the Automotive Store has offered customers access to nearly 4 million automotive parts and accessories, including Replacement and Performance Parts, Automotive Tools & Equipment, Automotive Accessories (Interior and Exterior), Car Electronics, Motorcycle & ATV Parts and Accessories, RV Parts & Accessories, Car Care and, now, Wheels.

As the Wheels Store debuts, customers who purchase a set of four wheels using the Amazon.com Store Card will pay no interest on their purchase if paid in full within 12 months. Restrictions apply (view details at www.amazon.com/storecard).

In addition, customers who purchase a set of four wheels will receive $25 worth of Amazon MP3 downloads.
