Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) said on Wednesday that it earned $3.34 billion, or 60 cents a share in its third quarter, compared to $3.24 billion, or 56 cents a share a year ago. Wells’ total revenue dipped in the quarter to $20.87 billion, from $22.47 billion a year ago. Analysts polled had expected the company to earn 55 cents a share, on revenue of $20.98 billion.
