CF Industries Names Russell A. Holowachuk Vice President, EHS and Engineering

CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CF) today announced that Russell A. Holowachuk has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Engineering, effective June 13, 2011. He reports directly to W. Anthony Will, Vice President, Manufacturing and Distribution.

Holowachuk joined CF Industries in 1976 as Chief Project Engineer during the start-up of the company’s Medicine Hat, Alberta, nitrogen complex. He progressed through a series of increasingly responsible leadership roles at the facility before being named Vice President and General Manager in 1990.

“After a highly successful career at our Medicine Hat facility, Russ is uniquely qualified to lead CF Industries’ EHS and engineering functions,” said Tony Will. “Russ brings to his new position the right combination of safety mindset, operating leadership, technical experience, and process orientation to help us attain our strategic objectives.”

Holowachuk earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan.
