Avocet Aviation Services Receives the Coveted FAA Repair Station Certificate

Avocet Aviation Services, LLC today announced that it has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 145 Repair Station Certificate.


Orlando, Fla., - Avocet Aviation Services, LLC today announced that it has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 145 Repair Station Certificate.
The maintenance repairs operation company, located at Orlando-Sanford International Airport, obtained the certification after completing a rigorous six month qualification process consisting of five phases. As part of those requirements, Avocet had to ensure that their proposed procedures were effective and that the facility and equipment met regulatory conditions.

The certification will allow Avocet’s trained technicians to perform inspections, maintenance, repair and upgrades for Aircraft B737, B767, DC-10 and additional Engine capabilities for CF6-6, CF6-45/50, CF6-80, JT8, JT9, PW 4000, CFM 56-3 thru CFM 56-7 .
Earlier this year Avocet unveiled a 55,510 square foot hangar that offers a full-service, commercial aircraft maintenance operation at the airport and is capable of housing aircraft as large as the Boeing 767-300. This one-stop-shop has a solid history in tear-down and heavy maintenance of aircraft, which includes airframe standard block inspections on B737, DC10, MD80, and MD11 aircraft and drop-in maintenance.
